New Signature Officially Joins Cognizant as the Microsoft Business Group

And the journey continues…

Today, we closed the deal to officially become the Microsoft Business Group within Cognizant. Coming to New Signature in April 2015, I knew that this was a very special place with the potential to be a true global Microsoft powerhouse. I also knew that I had a ton to learn. So, I want to begin by thanking each and every New Signature team member—current and alumni—who taught me so much, like how to navigate the Microsoft ecosystem and the nuances of Microsoft cloud computing solutions (with such detail that I should have taken a certification exam or two). Most importantly, they provided their unwavering support through what has been the most challenging and rewarding period of my career.

As I look to the next the chapter with Cognizant, I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity in front of us. What we have built at New Signature will be amplified exponentially with the power of Cognizant fueling our collective growth going forward. The commitment to digital bleeds through Cognizant’s growth agenda and it is something that has been, and will continue to be, core to our Microsoft business strategy. The synergy between our businesses is notable and unique. I have joked about going on many first dates in M&A and of utmost importance is finding a symbiotic relationship from a standpoint of values, mission and vision. We are so fortunate to have such natural alignment with the Cognizant team, especially within Digital Systems & Technology.

The reputation, expertise, and leadership experience within the new Microsoft Business Group will take us to heights previously unimagined and I am proud to lead such an outstanding team of individuals. I look forward to hitting the ground running just as we did 5 years ago, and will continue to do as part of the Cognizant family.
