We are always here, keeping our ears to the ground so we can pass along the best new features to our customers. Over the past quarter, Microsoft has made some enhancements that help to create more accessibility of files and also help to manage Outlook items so your work day is smoother and more customized.

  • Converting Files for Accessibility and Creating More Accessible PDFs
New to Word, Excel and PowerPoint is the option to convert your files to a modern format so that its more accessible to everyone. You can do this through the Accessibility Checker tool, available in the Review bar.You can also elevate the PDFs you share by using accessibility tags to make it possible to read the information on various devices. You should run the Accessibility Checker first, and if there are no pending issues, then you can begin to create the accessibility tags in the Options area during the Save As PDF process. • Say It Another Way
Are you ever writing something, and wish you could word something differently or more efficiently? Microsoft Word now offers some help through its Rewrite tool. Rewrite offers you alternate suggestions for any phrase you select. Creating comprehensive thoughts has never been easier.
  • Outlook Updates for Mobile Devices
We know that work doesn’t always stay on a desktop in an office setting. When you’re on the go, you can now respond to comments and mentions in documents right in your Outlook, without having to open the document. And when it’s time to unplug from work, the Do Not Disturb function can be customized down to the hour. Just go to your Outlook settings and find the bell icon.
