The British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Collaborative (BHFCRC) launched in June 2019. The collaborative aims to support the planning and delivery of clinical research in heart and circulatory diseases in the UK, providing the infrastructure to facilitate, enhance and coordinate the research planning of existing cardiovascular and surgical societies. The initiative is funded through a generous program grant from the UK’s leading heart disease charity, the British Heart Foundation.
New Signature helped the British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Collaborative realize their efficiency and security goals through strategic integration of Microsoft technology while better calibrating for a work-anywhere world. We provided them with the solutions and tools they needed to be able to spend more on research and development and less on administration overhead.
From this understanding of the overarching cardiovascular clinical research pipeline, New Signature were able to prescribe an IT solution based on Microsoft 365 and centered around Microsoft Teams to facilitate the communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing across a diverse cardiovascular research community. A solution which also addressed the challenges and needs of the research communities and the way they work.
